The One Where the Co-Worker Gets Married

I had been looking forward to this wedding ALL summer! Ever since shooting their engagement photos I could not wait for September to roll around and for me to get the opportunity to capture their special day. This wedding was just so much fun to shoot! Since I am co-workers with the bride it made the mood so easy and fun. There were times where I didn’t even need to say anything and she just knew what I was thinking!

After the ceremony we didn’t have a set location for wedding party and couples photos. My favourite part of the day was when the entire wedding party hopped into the motor-home and we just drove around the back country roads looking for a spot to shoot. We ended up finding some great locations to shoot in. It was so natural and fun! Sometimes not having a plan can produce the best photos and as a photographer I find it forces me to step out of my comfort zone and find a new creative side.

The reception was perfect! There were mini homemade, individual pies. I mean how can you go wrong with pie!? Plus I got to dance the night away with my work family which was just icing on the cake!

Until next time,

Ryan
