Riding into Forever: A Harley-Inspired Engagement Session at Last Chance Saloon
I was super excited when A & D said they wanted a biker style engagement session. They both share a passion for the open road and what a better way to celebrate their engagement than with the wind in their hair and the rumble of a Harley Davidson beneath them? This couple decided to incorporate their beloved motorbikes into the shoot, creating an engagement session that was uniquely theirs. And it was so much fun to photograph!
So with the motorbike vibe in mind, we suggested the most PERFECT location for them. Nestled in the heart of the Badlands, Last Chance Saloon provided the perfect backdrop for this love story. With is weathered wooden exterior and a history that echoes the tales of the Wild West, the saloon added a touch of nostalgia and authenticity to the photos. If you are a motorcyclist in Alberta then you have more then likely heard of the Last Chance Saloon. It is a wildly popular location to ride your motorbikes to. On the way to Last Chance Saloon there is the most beautiful scenic views and you drive over 11 bridges to get there. How cool is that!?
The icing on the cake was that they had biked there multiple times in the past for dates. There were so many great locations to work with and we were able to capture some photos that truly showcased the couples love of each other and their love of the open road. The leather jackets, the Harley’s chrome accents, and the timeless backdrop of the Last Chance Saloon created a harmonious blend of romance and rebellion. I cannot wait to capture their wedding this summer!
