L and S Mountain Wedding

So this was a fun one!
The day started out at my parents as they were watching the kiddos for the weekend for us. Alarm buzz at 0500 and I was up and at it. With a quick shower and double check of all the gear I was out the door. I just love early morning drives when it is just you and the open road. All the time in the world to think through the problems that are bothering you. Well about half way out to the mountains panic started to set in… SNOW. I don’t mean a little snow, I mean totally white ground. It was like bloody Christmas, May long in Alberta. So now at level 9 anxiety that I did not pack the right stuff for winter, I kept driving, hoping the snow would be less where I was going. Que five more KMs down the road and the snow was all gone. Problem one solved.
I arrived out in the mountains nice and early. Grabbed breakfast and worked on calming my nerves. 10 am, its go time. I started the day with photographing both the boys and girls getting ready and getting to know the wedding party better. Once everyone was ready and the first look was in the books, we headed out for wedding party photos. This part was a blast and everyone was a great sport about lots of walking in order to get some great shots. Once we completed wedding party photos it was back for the ceremony. All I can say is that the bride and groom had some of the best vows I have heard to date. They were very cute and meaningful.
The evening was capped off with some of the most stunning couple photos featuring the best mountain back drops only mother nature could offer.
